Our team is an experienced group of individuals who have long-standing working relationships managing luxury homes, lifestyles, and experiences with a strong track record of success. The team includes real estate professionals, UHNW property managers, hospitality specialists, and private equity advisors. Each excels in their particular niche, and contributes their expertise to maximize the value of our Partners’ investments and experience.

Founder and CEO

Kimberly Varney

Kimberly has over 20 years’ experience acquiring and operating luxury homes for Sports and Entertainment figures, Fortune 500 executives, and top-tier philanthropists. Her experiences cover a broad spectrum of real estate development and management; from project planning and property acquisition to construction and estate management.  Kimberly spent several years operating short-term accommodations for film and television studios’ A-List talent and production teams, refining the model for Laurian Club.

Kimberly holds a B.A. in Community Planning and Historic Preservation from The College of Charleston and an A.S. in Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts from Johnson and Wales. She earned a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the Georgia Center for Nonprofits, which she drew from to found 2 NPOs that support entrepreneurship and career education. Kimberly is a Real Estate Broker and Real Estate Educator in Florida and a Realtor in California, with reciprocal privileges in 8 additional  states. 

Home base for Kimberly is currently Tampa Bay. She moved from Miami in 2020 to manage a client’s construction project and hasn’t left (Go Bucs!), and maintains pieds-a-terre in both Santa Monica and Miami Beach. Kimberly is a classically trained chef, an avid traveler, and a fan of autosports and competitive surfing.

Director of Real Estate Development

Chantilly Brown

Chantilly will utilize 20+ years’ experience in luxury residential real estate development and project management to develop and manage Laurian Holdings. Her areas of expertise include property feasibility assessments, construction budgeting, permitting, scheduling, and tracking capital. Chantilly has created and implemented financially successful design upgrade programs and is skilled in identifying risk and exposure throughout all aspects of the property development process.

Chantilly has worked for the top multi-million dollar residential development companies in Southern California. She holds a B.S. in Business Management from Cal Poly and has been an active member of the Building Industry Association for the last 20 years. Chantilly donates her free time to Habitat for Humanity and HomeAid California’s Project Playhouse in Orange County, CA, where she currently resides. She enjoys being creative through interior design, makeup artistry, and baking. She also loves Yoga, Pilates, horseback riding and all outdoor activities.

Director of Finance

Daniel Reyes

As Director of Finance, Daniel will develop our financial policy and procedures, supervise accounting and management reporting, handle our banking relationships and treasury management, facilitate private equity administration, and contribute to both corporate and property-level budgeting. Daniel will manage our relationships with investors, auditors, tax practitioners, attorneys, bankers, appraisers, lenders, regulators, and financial consultants.

Daniel is the Founder of Realvue, an investment real estate consultancy. Daniel works with real estate companies across the country in the areas of accounting, finance, technology, financing activities, risk management, and other support services. His experiences include leading the US financial department for a Swiss-based, publicly listed and traded real estate investment company and asset manager. He is also an active, contributing member in his community and various industry associations.

Director of Estates Management

Stella Martins

Stella’s 15+ years’ experience as a private Estate Manager for Ultra-High-Net-Worth individuals and exceptional eye for detail will guide her efforts to maintain Laurian properties at the highest level. She’ll work with housekeeping staff, landscape contractors, and service vendors to implement maintenance and service protocols that will preserve the value of our real estate assets and ensure the properties and grounds are up to our standards at all times, providing our Investors an effortless ownership experience.

Stella has a degree in Interior Design from the Universidade Federal de Goiás -Goiânia, Goiás, Brazil, and is a founding board member of the Estate Management Network, a top professional association in the industry.

Stella moved to Manhattan from San Francisco and loves living in the heart of the Upper East Side. With Central Park as her back yard and Le Charlot as her corner cafe, one can understand why. NYC living also keeps her closer to her talented fashion designer daughter in update NY.

Adam King_Laurian
Director of Member Services

Adam King

Adam will keep our Members connected and informed. He’ll keep them apprised of upcoming Laurian Club events, new property acquisitions, travel opportunities, and partnership perks. Having managed VIP influencer services for major corporate communications and entertainment brands such as Samsung and Spotify, and served as a Celebrity Executive Personal Assistant, Adam knows how to keep track of the details and deliver high-touch personal service.  

Adam has a B.A. in Media and Communications from Stanford University and has worked on both sides of the camera in network television. He lives between Beverly Hills and Atlanta, splitting his loyalties between the Dodgers and the Braves. Adam loves to talk sports, plays a dangerous hand of poker, and has more fun on the golf course than anyone else.
